Church of St. Mary of the Byzantine Rite - 244 East 15th Street, NYC - April 2008 . . . .This parish dates to the early 20th Century. The current church was built in 1964, designed by a Franciscan Friar. It is considered one of the few churches in the City which successfully combines tradition with a modern interpretation.
