This modern house offers a lot of space for the whole family. It is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood on the east side of Altdorf. Due to the quiet location of the house in a charming courtyard away from the street it is ideal for families with little children for safely playing outside. Kindergarten and elementary school are just around the corner (150 sqm). On the west-side of the house you can enjoy the terrace and a charming, quiet garden with lots of green. Here you can relax without any street noise. In the garden you can also find a neat little garden-house which is perfect for gardening tools or outside-furniture. The entrance area on the ground floor leads you to the corridor with wardrobe. Right next to it you also have a toilette for guests. The corridor is separated by a door to the spacious open kitchen, dining area and living room. The connection from the equipped kitchen to the dining and living room is optically a little bit divided by a waist-height wall. An additional storeroom on the ground floor perfectly provides space for groceries or cleaning-stuff. From the living area you have direct access to the sheltered terrace and garden on the west-side of the house. A high-quality massive beech-stairway leads you to the first floor. Here you have a bathroom with big windows and three bedrooms. One of them is perfect for parents, the other two can be used as rooms for the children or as a guest-room or office, e.g. Two highlights of the house are on the second floor which is equipped with two very spacious and light studio-rooms. Due to the wide dormer windows in both rooms they are very light, cozy and useable many-sided as TV-room, guest-room or another playroom for children. Studio 2 even contains space-saving stairs to a gallery under the roof which gives the whole room an extra-special flair. Also located on the second floor is another toilette as well as the central heating system. The basement also provides plenty of space with 3 rooms in total. One of them is a tiled room with technical installations and space for washing-machine and dryer. In the other two rooms you have plenty of space for additional storage or a little workshop. There is one carport as well as a storing position for bicycles right in front of the front door as well as a second private parking spot next to the way into the courtyard.


The living room is equipped with a beech engineered hardwood flooring. Kitchen, dining-area, entrance-area and all bathrooms are tiled. You have a central heating with gas which allows the whole house to easily get warm during the period of cold weather. In the main bathroom as well as the kitchen and dining-area you additionally have underfloor-heating for your comfort. The gas heating system was renewed in 2009 by a more modern heating equipment. The built-in kitchen is of course included in the house. In 2011 the work surface of the kitchen was enhanced with an elegant natural stone. In that year also all electronical devices as well as the sink was renewed.


The village of Altdorf is a lovely little community with approx. 4600 residence. The barracks and Panzer-Kaserne in Böblingen are only 10km away and is easily accessible. Altdorf is located right next to the local recreation area of Schönbuch. There is a big Edeka-grocery-store, various local bakeries and butcher shops, restaurants and cafés in this charming village. Moreover, you can find doctors and a pharmacy here. The community has 3 kindergartens, an elementary school as well as a sports hall. The closest secondary schools are in the neighboring village of Holzgerlingen or in Böblingen. There is a public bus transportation to Ehningen which is connected to the S1, a suburban train to either Stuttgart, Böblingen or Herrenberg. Moreover, you can use the local Schönbuchbahn from Holzgerlingen to Böblingen. You can also easily get to Böblingen/Sindelfingen by car within 10 to 15 minutes via B464.


Fees for water and garbage, heating maintenance/chimney, property tax and insurances are already included in the utilities (service charge). If required we can partially furnish the house. English speaking support is offered.
